Like some of the previous readers who found your books by accident so did I, and I downloaded one curious to see what it was like……well like everyone I was hooked and I have in the past two months read all but one which I’ve got on holdin our local library. Than you sooo much the books writing and main family are wonderful and having just come across this web site I see that you are ending the series. It is sad like losing a family we know..but you hung in for a long time.so thank you it’s been wonderful. I first discovered your book series at a hodgepodge book store in Minden. ON. The proprietor recommended a compendium of books 1-3. The bookstore is sadly long gone, but I was hooked and have followed along ever since. Thank you for letting us know of your gentle farewell to Joanne and Zack and the prople who inhabit their lives.

Dear Carol, please forgive me for taking so long to thank you for your loving and generous note. I'm so technologically inept that, despite my son-in-law's many, many patient efforts, I still struggle with the reply function on the newsletter. Thank you again for your kind words. I am so glad Joanne, Zack and the people in their world helped you through the pandemic. That suddenly seems so long ago, but I'm grateful that our relationship grew out of that time. Warmest wishes, and yet more apologies,
Gail

I don’t know how you do it Gail…but thank God you do. No comment about the closure of the series 🥲.

I’m weeping as I read your words. I know all good things will end, but it will be hard to say good bye to the interesting, intriguing, eccentric, (occasionally annoying) characters that became friends in your books. We are thankful for the incredible run you provided. Thank you Gail.
